As It Fades

In As it Fades the imagination of a little girl is reflected in a painting projected on a wall. This painting is the only place where she can visit her imaginary friend. By stepping into the painting, it comes to life. But because of her weight, it quickly drops out of its frame and flows onto the back wall and floor.
The little girl finds herself in the magical world of her imaginary friend. In this enchanting piece, dancers of flesh and blood change into animated figures. Bit by bit the colors fade from the painting until only shadows remain. The two dancers dance a duet with their own shadow, yet their shadow sometimes seems to live a life of its own.
"Humor, athletic movements combined with computer know-how."

"Easy to watch, witty and visually impresive."
