Sioux wil een bijdrage leveren aan een veilige, gezonde en duurzame wereld door middel van technologische vernieuwing. Sioux ontzorgt hightech bedrijven bij het ontwikkelen en bouwen van slimme modules door het leveren van Hardware, Software en Mathware.
Sinds de start van het project Airman we got in touch with Sioux. Together with partner Luchtzinnig Sioux is working on the duet between a dancer and a swarm of drones. In it, Sioux takes on the design and implementation of dance-facilitating algorithms for a collection of drones.
Dutch Tilt Studios is a Dutch animation company, specialized in animation film production. Since our participation in Britain’s Got Talent, Dutch Tilt Studios has been involved in the animation production of Another Kind of Blue. When creating new animations or modifying and improving existing ones, the three gentlemen of Dutch Tilt Studios are always ready with great enthusiasm!
Optitrack is the largest motion capture provider in the world, offering high-performance optical tracking at the most affordable prices in the industry. When starting to work on Newton’s Duet, the first choreography with drones, the collaboration with OptriTrack started.
ㅤㅤㅤ Amareㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤis the new house for the arts, education, events and cultural encounter at Spuiplein in The Hague. It’s a brand-new building, with concert halls, a theatre hall, studios, classrooms, rehearsal rooms, catering establishments and much more. Stichting Amare is responsible for the management and programming of the complex, which is also home to the Royal Conservatoire, Residentie Orkest Den Haag and Nederlands Dans Theater. It is a venue of, for and by the city. In addition to the concerts and performances, Amare also fulfils an important role as an event and convention centre.
From Maastricht SALLY creates dance performances, education and participation projects for young people.
Together with dancers and top choreographers from home and abroad, SALLY tells current and social stories through dance in virtuoso performances and encounters. Through dance, the dance company develops skills needed to relate to the world, such as learning to look and think critically, developing self-confidence and learning to respect others and being different. SALLY teaches youth and young people to believe in who they are and teaches them to develop.
The Digital Art Lab is the research and development arm of CKC & Partners. At the Lab, they like to think technically, but always from a creative angle; experimenting, trying out new things, building prototypes.
CKC & partners is the house for cultural education and amateur art in Zoetermeer and there are dozens of artist teachers under one roof. A collaborative project between an artist and a technician can be set up in no time. It is valuable to challenge each other or give (unsolicited) advice. So there is always an opportunity to innovate with new technology.
Luchtzinnig specialises not only in aerial photography and aerial video productions, but also in the development and construction of custom flying structures. For several times already Luchtzinnig has been involved in the projects of Another Kind of Blue. They made for example drone recordings of The Netherlands and the South of France, which were later incorporated into the animations of Flyland. But also during Newton's Duet they were instrumental in providing and editing the drones with which the dancers danced a duet. Also in the follow-up project of Newton's Duet, Airman, they will continue to play this important role.
Kunstmin is the theatre in the Drechtsteden that presents, produces and develops innovative (performing) arts. On various stages, in characteristic venues and unexpected locations. In season 23/24 Another Kind of Blue's Digital Twin will be shown at the Great Hall and David Middendorp had a residency at Machine 3, after which he showed a short medley of his repertoire during one of our D-Sound nights at Machine 3 in the Energiehuis.
